Mich KC 61st Ultrasound

Wednesday June 17, 2020 marked the dedication for the 61st Ultrasound Machine in Michigan which took place at Life Resources of Northern MI in Cadillac. 

Fr. Michael Janowski from St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac provided the opening prayer and blessed the Ultrasound machine.

In attendance, District Deputy Jon Bloemker who led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, Council #1224 GK Robert Harris, FS Frank Nixon and wife Rose, Treasurer Joe Pacella and wife Carol,  William Duley Sr. & William Duley Jr., and wife Terry, Bridget Roberts Executive Director, Beth Klimp RN, Denise Stamm RN, Ron Klimp Board Consultant, MI News 26, staff, and Brother Knights & ladies from neighboring Councils. Others in attendance Former MI K of C Pro Life Chair Couple Tim & Cindy Donovan.

Sponsoring Council: Cadillac Council #1224, along with help from neighboring Parishes & Councils #8556 & #16643.

Executive Director Bridget Roberts communicated the importance of this Ultrasound Machine while thanking the Knights of Columbus for their generosity and commitment to Protecting the Unborn. Council #1224 Treasurer Joe Pacella stated that fundraising wasn't an issue as everyone in the community understood the value and opportunity that Ultrasound provides. Tim & Cindy Donovan thanked everyone for their ongoing Passion for Life and encouraged the councils to stay in close contact with the Pregnancy center.

Fr. Christopher Jarvis concluded the ceremony by providing us with an inspirational and memorable closing prayer.

And last but far from least, let us not forget Supreme Council Knights of Columbus for their matching funds program which has surpassed its original goal of 1,000 Life Saving Ultrasound Machines, now at 1255 Order wide.
